After a successful proof of concept and development on the Corvettes, we present you the equal length 8-4-1 headers for the Coyote/Voodoo engine.
It was long considered impossible to fit equal length headers into the 2011+ Mustang. In order to accomplish this we had to further push the boundaries and think further out of the box than any company has done for a production header.
The Headers
- Individually CNC flanged 1.875" primaries
- Double slip joint 2.125" secondaries
- Custom CNC engine brackets (OEM mounts)
- Custom titanium studs and hardware to facilitate the installation
- Manual transmission version uses a flat 4-1 collector to retain correct wave tuning lengths. Automatic version is experimental in regards to header lengths.
The Exhaust
Just like the Corvettes are equipped with good valved OEM mufflers, so are the Mustangs. We've proven there is more sound left on the table and we could improve on it. They are slightly louder than OEM with the valves closed and significantly louder with the valves open.
- Full 3" straight through with the valve open (OEM and others are a 2.5" valve)
- OEM valve control if originally equipped from factory (15+,24+ Mustang and GT350)
- ON/OFF control for any car not originally equipped
- Retains OEM GT350 tips
Why is it sold as a system only? (header/midpipe available for motorsport applications)
- We wanted ZERO design contraints
- There are no magic mufflers (all of the sound is produced by the header/midpipe). They all cancel a broad range of frequencies. We designed ours to allow the most sound through them while still being comfortable enough for normal driving.
- We don't need another exhaust (*marketing) company taking any credit for the truly innovative work we do
